- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material

Service Agreements
The provision of cleaning services is governed by a separate written Service Agreement between Golden Star School Cleaning and the client. These Terms & Conditions form part of that agreement and apply in conjunction with it.
A binding service agreement is only formed when:
- A written quote has been provided by Golden Star School Cleaning
- The client has accepted the quote in writing (by email or signed agreement)
- A commencement date has been agreed
Verbal agreements or informal arrangements do not constitute a binding service agreement. All scope of works, service frequencies, areas covered and special requirements must be documented in the written Service Agreement to be enforceable.
For Victorian government schools, all service agreements are structured in compliance with the VSBA Cleaning Services Specification and Ministerial Order 1127. A Cleaning Services Plan is provided as part of all government school engagements.
Quotes & Pricing
All quotes provided by Golden Star School Cleaning are:
- Valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated
- Based on information provided by the client at the time of enquiry
- Subject to site assessment — where on-site conditions materially differ from the information provided, we reserve the right to revise the quote
- Exclusive of GST unless explicitly stated otherwise
Prices for ongoing services are subject to annual review. We will provide a minimum of 30 days written notice of any price increase. Quoted prices for one-off or project-based services (such as holiday deep cleans) are fixed at the quoted amount unless the scope of work changes.
Indicative pricing shown on our website is for guidance only and does not constitute a binding quote. A formal written quote is required before any service agreement is formed.
Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing in the Service Agreement, the following payment terms apply:
- Invoicing: Invoices are issued monthly in arrears for ongoing services, or upon completion for one-off services
- Payment due: Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date
- Method: Electronic funds transfer (EFT) to our nominated bank account. Details are provided on each invoice.
- Late payment: Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may attract a late payment fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance
- Disputed invoices: If you dispute an invoice, you must notify us in writing within 7 days of receipt. Undisputed portions of an invoice remain payable by the due date.
We reserve the right to suspend services where invoices remain unpaid beyond 30 days of the due date, after providing 7 days written notice.
Cancellation & Termination
Cancellation of individual visits: Where a scheduled cleaning visit cannot proceed due to circumstances within the client's control (including school lockdowns, events, access issues not communicated in advance), 48 hours notice is required. Visits cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may be charged at 50% of the visit rate.
Termination of ongoing contracts:
- Either party may terminate an ongoing service agreement by providing 30 days written notice
- Termination for cause (material breach, non-payment, safety concerns) may be enacted with 7 days written notice after the breaching party has failed to remedy the breach within the notice period
- All outstanding invoices become immediately payable upon termination
Note: For Victorian government schools, any termination process must also comply with the relevant requirements under the VSBA facilities management framework and the school's principal obligations under Ministerial Order 1127.
